Dear C-MENT Families:
You should have all received your paper listing your child’s costume needs and discussed hair at the Parent Meeting. Costumes should have been brought to the church last Sat. Please do your child’s hair for Saturday’s rehearsal as you will for the show.
It is important for the children to continue to get lots of rest, eat well and drink lots of fluids so as to stay healthy during these hectic holiday times. Remember to keep washing hands to avoid catching or spreading germs. Let’s pray for continued health for all.
SATURDAY’S REHEARSAL, 11/10:
Please note that we are having the costume parade after lunch this Saturday so all cast members should bring a lunch and plan to stay until 1:30.
TUESDAY’S REHEARSAL, 11/13:
Please note that we are running Act II so all cast members should be memorized through the end of the show. The song “Story of the Shepherds” should also be memorized.
Head Shot photos will be taken on Saturday, November 17 starting at 8:45 am. Please come with hair nicely combed and wearing a solid colored top if possible.
Please provide your child’s cast member bio to Mrs. Kimberly Lynch (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible for the program (indicate your child(ren)’s name in the subject line). Please note that bios need to be less than 80 words to fit the program’s format. In addition to the bio, please include a brief note of encouragement to your child(ren) that will also be included in the program as a special surprise for each cast member.
We hope you are all advertising the play! Please invite all of your friends and family so that they can put the dates on their calendars. If you wait too long, people will be busy with other holiday activities. Invitations for you to personally deliver will be handed out soon as well as an electronic copy that you will receive via email. We will also post an ad on the C-MENT & PLC Facebook pages that you can “share” on your own FB page, if you have one. We have found that a personal invitation from you to your friends is by far the best way to build audience attendance! Thanks for your help!
SET STRIKE: A representative from each family is respectfully requested to stay to strike the show at the conclusion of closing night (Sat., 12/8). Many helpers make the strike go quickly. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. So please make sure this date is on your calendar.
